Slykhuis Farms is an Angus based commercial cow-calf operation. We raise our calves from birth to harvest. Our finished cattle are sold to processing plants in Eastern and Western Kansas. We breed with superior genetics that grade well on the rail and heifers that are sustainable and make great cows.

OUR VISION
Slykhuis Farms has been in operation for 45 years. Our vision is to produce high quality commercial beef that is safe and wholesome to the consumer. We have seen the beef industry go through several changes. We have survived by old-fashioned grit and hard work, and by learning to be more efficient and adapting to the changes in the industry. We have been Artificially Breeding to some of the best carcass bulls in the industry for the past 20 years. This has allowed us to put together a pool of brood cows that will raise superior females that are sustainable and efficient and steer calves that finish out at the top of the market.
